The purpose of this article is to determine the role of small business in the national
economy of Karakalpakstan. Statistical data for 2015-2022 were used to solve this problem. The article shows the role of small business for the national economies of developed and developing countries, a comparative analysis is carried out on such characteristics as employment, the structure of small business according to macroeconomic indicators, the contribution of small business to the replenishment of the budget and extra-budgetary funds. The problems of comparing statistical data on small business in Karakalpakstan are shown. The purpose of this article is to comprehensively analyze the state of small business in Uzbekistan, identify the main problems and proposals for their solution. The article examines current trends in entrepreneurship, provides statistical data illustrating the growth and development of the sector, and offers recommendations for improving the business environment. The analysis confirms that small business in Uzbekistan has significant potential, but requires further state support and optimization of existing measures.

The digital economy creates enormous opportunities for small businesses: expanding market boundaries, reducing operating costs, and introducing new business models. Although digital transformation is developing rapidly in Uzbekistan, the level of use of digital technologies in the small business sector lags behind the indicators of developed countries. The article presents proposals for developing digital literacy programs, creating financial support mechanisms, and improving infrastructure to accelerate the digitalization of small businesses.

DEVELOPING AN AI-POWERED CHATBOT TO INCREASE SALES IN SMALL BUSINESS

. In the context of digitalization of the economy, small businesses are increasingly turning to artificial intelligence technologies to improve the efficiency of customer service and optimize business processes. One of the most promising areas is the introduction of intelligent chatbots that can automatically process customer requests, provide advice and support the user at the stage of making a purchase decision. This paper examines the process of designing and implementing a chatbot with elements of natural language processing designed to interact with small business clients. The development stages are described, including domain analysis, formalization of user scenarios, construction of the system architecture, selection of technologies, prototype implementation, and user testing. The results of the pilot implementation showed a high degree of relevance of responses, ease of interaction and the potential for integrating such a solution into the existing business environment. The data obtained confirm the feasibility of using intelligent chatbots in small businesses as a tool for automating primary consulting with limited resources.

This study focuses on the impact and importance of marketing for business. An increase in the number of media subscribers among business owners can significantly increase the demand for specific products or services in the tourism sector. Digital marketing plays an important role in attracting customers and establishing brand popularity among competitors. In particular, this project aims to illustrate the role of marketing in business in the Uzbek market. Currently, the digital landscape offers services that allow customers to access a variety of information through their devices on platforms. Moreover, business leaders have the right to use marketing tools to increase brand loyalty. In short, this study focuses on user acceptance rates. Collects data on the effectiveness of stores in the market in Uzbekistan. Small businesses provide the opportunity to use digital marketing tools that attract loyal customers who are willing to invest in specific products or services in the tourism industry (for example, hotels, hostels, restaurants, spas, pubs, bars, etc.). Studying marketing can help raise awareness in society, leading to an impact on opinions people. Therefore, achieving success in the media is crucial to achieving goals in any business.

This article examines the efficiency of small business in the service sector of Uzbekistan and its role in ensuring sustainable economic growth. The study highlights the key determinants of development, including government support, infrastructure quality, access to financial resources, and workforce skills. Particular attention is given to the introduction of innovations and digital technologies, which contribute to the optimization of business processes, cost reduction, and market expansion. The analysis shows that despite the positive results achieved, the sector still faces several challenges such as limited access to finance, high competition, and administrative barriers. At the same time, government initiatives aimed at reducing bureaucratic procedures, providing tax incentives, and stimulating the export of services create favorable conditions for further development. It is concluded that small businesses in the service sector have significant potential to expand their contribution to the economy, especially through export development and integration into international markets. The implementation of comprehensive measures will enhance the competitiveness of small enterprises and ensure further diversification of Uzbekistan’s economy.
