This article discusses the issue of increasing economic efficiency in manufacturing enterprises. It analyzes ways to rationally use production resources, improve technological processes, introduce digital technologies, and increase labor productivity. It also analyzes the views of prominent economists on economic, that is, production resources, and draws a general conclusion. In addition, ways to increase production efficiency and methods for determining it are also considered
