The knowledge economy is reshaping how we think about work, education, and personal development. For students, this presents both incredible opportunities and serious challenges. While there is an unprecedented demand for adaptable, critical thinkers with digital and analytical skills, many educational institutions still operate with outdated models that do not fully equip students for this shift. This paper explores the knowledge economy’s impact on students, addressing key questions: What skills are most valuable? How should education evolve to meet new demands? What obstacles do students face in preparing for this rapidly changing landscape? By examining real-world examples, academic research, and insights from industry leaders, this study highlights actionable steps that students, educators, and policymakers can take to bridge the gap between traditional education and the dynamic needs of the knowledge-driven world.

This article analyzes the theoretical and practical aspects of developing educational tourism in Uzbekistan based on the experience of Türkiye. The study examines the role of educational tourism in the global economy, mechanisms for attracting international students, state policy, and the international competitiveness of universities. Particular attention is paid to Türkiye’s strategic programs such as “Türkiye Scholarships” and “Study in Türkiye,” as well as the possibilities of adapting these practices to Uzbekistan’s conditions. The research applies SWOT analysis, comparative analysis, and statistical methods. As a result, scientific and practical recommendations were developed to improve educational tourism, increase the flow of international students, and expand the export of educational services in Uzbekistan

The article examines the educational market as an ecosystem where key participants interact: universities, employers and students. The author analyzes the role of each of these entities in shaping consumer behavior in the educational market. Particular attention is paid to the interdependence of their interests, the dynamics of interaction and the influence of external factors, such as technological changes and digitalization. The study demonstrates that universities act not only as providers of educational services, but also as an important link in creating competencies in demand in the labor market.

The article analyzes the trend in the development of higher education marketing in Uzbekistan at the present stage, which showed a significant increase in the number of universities and students enrolled in them, while reducing the proportion of students per teacher, which indicates an increase in the efficiency of the resources of the higher education system, reflecting the effectiveness of ongoing reforms. The main goal of the latter is to increase the accessibility and quality of higher education, integrate the national system into the international educational space, train personnel in demand in the labor market, which is designed to ensure the further development of the socio-educational sphere of Uzbekistan.

The article analyzes statistics of foreign students, international rankings of higher education institutions and infrastructure capabilities, and identifies development areas necessary to increase the attractiveness of Uzbekistan as a center for educational tourism. The article offers proposals for adapting to international education standards, improving quality and expanding infrastructure, including dormitories and digital educational platforms. The article also provides recommendations for increasing the competitiveness of Uzbekistan in the global educational tourism market through strategic investments, support for regional infrastructure and marketing activities.

Fantasy literature relies heavily on linguistic creativity to construct imaginary worlds that appear coherent, immersive, and believable to readers. Among contemporary fantasy authors, J.K. Rowling has achieved remarkable success in creating a detailed magical universe through the effective use of language and stylistic techniques. This study investigates the role of stylistic devices in the construction of fantasy worlds in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. The primary objective of the research is to identify the most prominent stylistic devices employed in the novel and to analyze their contribution to world-building, characterization, and the representation of magical reality.

The study adopts a qualitative linguostylistic approach and is based on the descriptive, contextual, and interpretative analysis of selected passages from the novel. Particular attention is given to metaphor, simile, personification, epithets, hyperbole, and symbolism. The findings demonstrate that these stylistic devices perform functions that extend beyond aesthetic ornamentation. They facilitate the creation of a distinctive magical atmosphere, provide vivid descriptions of characters and settings, and enable readers to visualize unfamiliar objects, creatures, and phenomena within the fictional universe.

The analysis reveals that metaphor and symbolism play a central role in expressing abstract magical concepts, while personification and simile contribute significantly to the portrayal of Hogwarts and other elements of the wizarding world. Furthermore, stylistic devices enhance narrative engagement by strengthening emotional responses and supporting the reader’s immersion in the fictional environment. The study argues that Rowling’s success in fantasy world-building is closely connected with her strategic use of stylistic resources, which transform ordinary language into a powerful tool of imaginative representation.

The findings contribute to contemporary stylistic and literary-linguistic research by demonstrating how stylistic devices function as essential mechanisms in fantasy discourse. The results may also be valuable for literary scholars, translators, and students interested in fantasy literature and linguistic approaches to literary texts

This article provides a scientific analysis of the role of social media in the modern education system and its impact on students' cognitive and motivational development. Based on the theories of scholars such as Piaget, Vygotsky, and Bandura, the study highlights the influence of the digital environment on thinking, memory, and motivation to learn. Recommendations for reducing the pedagogical potential and psychological risks associated with social media use are also offered.

This paper provides an in-depth analysis of the practical applications of the definite integral. It begins by explaining the application of the definite integral to calculating the surface area of geometric figures in a plane. Examples of economic problems are also given, including output, labor productivity, and income inequality through the Gini coefficient. Based on the supply and demand functions, consumer and producer surpluses are expressed using the definite integral. Each topic is illustrated with mathematical formulas, graphs, and real-life examples, demonstrating the importance of integral calculus not only in theory but also in economic and social practice. This work is a useful resource for students of definite integrals, as well as for those who wish to apply mathematical methods to economic problems.

This article reflects the theories aimed at the further development of tutoring activities in the innovative management of higher engineering educational institutions. It is known that the activity of tutoring in higher education institutions is limited to the coordination of educational and educational processes between students and tutors. In the conditions of socio-economic development of the regions, education of every student in the spirit of entrepreneurship is gaining importance. The ideas put forward in the article and the developed models are mainly aimed at the development of recommendations for involving students in scientific research work in engineering higher education institutions, ensuring their participation in the commercialization of the results of scientific work.

This study focuses on university students and teachers at Bukhara State University in Uzbekistan to examine socio-psychological factors impacting the learning of English as a foreign language. The main hypothesis is that these factors influence students' attitudes towards learning English. The research also investigates if parental factors play a role in students' attitudes. Results show demographic details of students' backgrounds and parents' occupations. The study emphasizes the importance of understanding these factors in English language education.
