THE ROLE OF THE STATE IN A MARKET ECONOMY AND ITS IMPACT ON THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

This article examines the role of the state in a market economy, using the Republic of Uzbekistan as a case study. It analyzes the nature of state participation in the economy during ongoing market reforms and structural transformation. The study is based on comparative, structural, and statistical analysis of macroeconomic indicators. It is shown to what extent state regulation and investment policy contribute to industrial development and influence the structure of industrial production in Uzbekistan.
