REGULATION OF POPULATION INCOME BY FISCAL INSTRUMENTS

This article examined the issue of regulating the population's income using fiscal instruments. The study examined theoretical and empirical scientific literature on assessing the impact of taxes on reducing income inequality. The article also analyzes the structure of population income and the impact of fiscal instruments on income inequality. A regression analysis of factors influencing the uneven distribution of population income (Gini coefficient) was conducted. As a result of the research and analysis, conclusions were drawn about the regulation of population incomes by fiscal instruments.

ANALYSIS OF PROFIT EFFICIENCY OF COMMERCIAL BANKS IN UZBEKISTAN

This article evaluates the profit efficiency of commercial banks in Uzbekistan using the Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) method. The analysis is based on data from commercial banks operating in Uzbekistan between 1999 and 2023. The research findings indicate that the profit efficiency of commercial banks has increased over time but declined during the global financial crisis and the pandemic. In terms of ownership structure, state-owned banks had the highest average profit efficiency, while foreign banks, despite high volatility, achieved the best results in some years. The profit efficiency of private and joint-stock commercial banks was variable and fluctuated significantly depending on market conditions.

THE INFLUENCE OF INFLATION ON THE PURCHASING POWER OF THE POPULATION

This article examines the impact of inflation on the purchasing power of the population, as well as the consequences of this process for households of various social groups. Based on the analysis of existing literature and our own research, the main causes of inflation, its impact on real incomes of citizens and changes in the structure of consumption were identified. The article also suggests measures to protect against the negative consequences of inflation both from the state and at the individual level. The results of the study emphasize the importance of understanding the mechanisms of inflation and its impact on the household economy, and recommend the implementation of strategies to minimize the risks associated with inflationary processes.

Neural networks, inspired by the structure of the human brain, have the potential to revolutionize these sectors by enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making capabilities. In personal finance, they can optimize budgeting, savings, and expenditure management through automated models such as the McCulloch-Pitts neuron. In healthcare, neural networks improve diagnostic capabilities and enable predictive treatment. The article also highlights the applications of neural networks in econometrics to analyze financial patterns, detect fraud, and manage risks more effectively. However, it also addresses the ethical concerns related to data privacy, security, and biases in algorithmic decision-making, stressing the importance of responsible development. Ultimately, it concludes that, despite the challenges, the benefits of integrating neural networks into econometric models and financial systems are substantial and indispensable for modern advancements.
