This thesis analyzes the economic essence and practical significance of state
support mechanisms for small business entities in the tourism sector of Uzbekistan. The role of
small businesses in developing the tourism industry, improving service quality, and creating new
jobs in the country is highlighted. In addition, the impact of preferential loans, subsidies, tax
incentives, and investment support measures allocated to the sector on entrepreneurial activity is
scientifically assessed. The thesis also develops proposals and recommendations for further
development of small businesses operating in the tourism sector.
