Abstract

This thesis analyzes the potential for the development of agritourism as a form of 
sustainable tourism in Uzbekistan. The main body examines the concept of agritourism, its 
development trends, existing challenges, and future prospects, while providing a detailed discussion of pathways for its sustainable advancement. Agritourism represents an integrated sector that combines agriculture and tourism, playing a significant role in fostering the economic development of rural areas, diversifying farmers’ income sources, and preserving national cultural heritage. Furthermore, the thesis includes proposals and conclusions aimed at further promoting ecotourism development in Uzbekistan.
