This article provides a scientific analysis of the environmental challenges arising
in the process of global tourism development and the significance of circular economy principles in addressing them. Based on the 3R model, it examines the efficient use of resources, as well as
opportunities for waste reduction and recycling. The study assesses the current state of the tourism sector in Uzbekistan, its infrastructure, and environmental management issues, and develops practical recommendations for the development of sustainable tourism.
