This article analyzes the role and significance of ecotourism in implementing the
principles of the circular economy in practice. It examines the environmental impacts of the global
tourism industry, particularly the problem of excessive resource consumption associated with 3S
tourism (Sea–Sand–Sun tourism). The study demonstrates that ecotourism contributes to the
transition toward a circular model through sustainability, resource circulation, waste reduction,
and support for local communities. The article also evaluates ecotourism as an important
instrument of the green economy.
