Ушбу мақолада инфратузилма ривожланишининг иқтисодий моҳияти илмий жиҳатдан таҳлил қилинган. Инфратузилманинг иқтисодий ўсишни жадаллаштириш, иш ўринларини яратиш, инвестицияларни жалб қилиш ва аҳоли турмуш сифатини оширишдаги роли очиб берилган. Халқаро тажрибалар таҳлили асосида инфратузилмани молиялаштиришнинг замонавий моделлари (давлат-хусусий шериклик, тўғридан-тўғри хорижий инвестициялар, халқаро молиявий институтлар кредитлари) ҳамда уларнинг Ўзбекистон шароитида қўллаш имкониятлари кўрсатилган. Муаллиф инфратузилмани барқарор иқтисодий ривожланишнинг асосий стратегик омили сифатида баҳолайди.
