Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical foundations and practical significance of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) concept, which is an important component of the circular economy. The study highlights the role of EPR policies in reducing waste, promoting efficient use of resources, and fostering environmentally sustainable production. The introduction of this concept in the context of Uzbekistan is substantiated as being crucial for transitioning to a circular economy model, developing waste recycling infrastructure, and enhancing the environmental responsibility of producers.
