ANALYSIS OF THE CURRENT STATE OF SMALL BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

The article analyzes the key indicators of small business development in Uzbekistan during 2020–2025. It highlights the steady growth of small business contributions to GDP, industry, construction, retail trade, services, and foreign trade. The study also discusses persisting challenges, including limited access to financial resources, lack of skilled workforce, market competition imbalances, and the incompatibility of export products with international standards. The paper proposes practical recommendations aimed at enhancing the role of small business in the national economy.
