Pilgrimage tourism is one of the promising areas of tourism development in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The article examines the main indicators and trends in the development of pilgrimage tourism in Uzbekistan, as well as its socio-economic consequences. The purpose of the study is to identify the role of pilgrimage tourism in the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to determine the main indicators and trends in the development of this area of tourism. The ideas of the study are that pilgrimage tourism has significant potential for the development of the economy of Uzbekistan, creating jobs and improving the standard of living of the population.

The research contributes to the development of theoretical knowledge about pilgrimage tourism in Uzbekistan. The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that its results can be used to develop strategies for the development of pilgrimage tourism in Uzbekistan, as well as to improve the efficiency of management of this tourism area.
The methodological basis of the research is the economic and sociological approaches. The research uses methods such as statistical data analysis, including correlation and regression analysis; analysis of official legal documents and scientific literature, generalization, forecasting.
As a result of the study, the following main results were obtained. In 2022, about 313.9 thousand pilgrims visited the country, which is about 6% of the total number of international tourists. Revenues from pilgrimage tourism in 2022 amounted to 125.6 million dollars, which is about 1.52% of the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan. According to the forecast for 2023, the incoming tourist flow to the Republic of Uzbekistan will grow to 7 million people, the number of pilgrim tourists will amount to 420 thousand people. Then the income from pilgrimage tourism in 2023 It will amount to $168 million, and the total revenue from tourism will amount to $ 2.8 billion. Using correlation analysis, a direct noticeable correlation was revealed between employment in the tourism sector and income from tourism. Pilgrimage tourism is one of the promising areas of tourism development in Uzbekistan. The results of the study contribute to the development of theoretical knowledge about pilgrimage tourism in Uzbekistan. The results of the study can be used to develop strategies for the development of pilgrimage tourism in Uzbekistan, as well as to improve the efficiency of management of this area of tourism. In particular, the study can be used to improve the regulatory framework governing activities in the field of pilgrimage tourism; development of infrastructure for pilgrimage tourism; promotion of pilgrimage tourism in foreign markets.

The purpose of the study is to study the theoretical and practical foundations of
human capital development factors in the process of implementing concepts and strategies for the socio-economic development of Uzbekistan. Analysis of practical work aimed at improving science, education, health and culture for the development of human capital in the new Uzbekistan, development efforts along with world civilizations and countries of the world. This article analyzes the main directions for the development of passenger transportation activities in rail transport. It discusses statistical indicators of passenger transportation, income and expense dynamics during the period from 2014 to 2023, as well as detailed information regarding infrastructure costs.
The article includes statistical analyses of the number of passengers transported by rail and their turnover. It examines changes in passenger numbers, income growth, expense dynamics, and the losses incurred from passenger transportation. Based on this information, the aim is to identify the main problems in passenger transportation activities in rail transport and propose solutions.
The article recommends ways to improve passenger transportation activities through the implementation of modern technologies in the rail transport sector, enhancing staff qualifications, and improving services for passengers. Additionally, it provides information on infrastructure proposals for the development of passenger transportation and necessary strategic measures to ensure economic stability.
The results of the research are significant for developing effective strategies for the advancement of rail transport, facilitating rapid development of passenger transportation, increasing economic efficiency, and creating convenience for passengers.

This article presents modern trends in the development of foreign economic
relations of the region, strategies and practices aimed at strengthening economic ties between countries and regions, as well as globalization and integration of these modern trends, digital economy, sustainable development, development of transport, logistics infrastructure, innovation and technological progress. The article presents a comprehensive review of the foreign experience in the development of tourist villages over the past ten years. Models and strategies implemented in Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa, and Oceania are examined, along with comparative data across countries and regions. Special attention is given to the analysis of economic effects, local community involvement, and the role of international initiatives such as the UNWTO Best Tourism Villages program. Case studies from Indonesia, Japan, France, and Mexico demonstrate successful practices in the sustainable development of rural tourism. The study identifies key risks — loss of authenticity, environmental pressure, rising prices, and social transformations — and offers recommendations for their minimization. The article emphasizes that tourist villages are becoming an important tool for sustainable socio-economic development, contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage, job creation, and diversification of regional economies.

This article examines the issues of integrating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) into the regional development programs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The study applied content analysis to more than 20 normative-legal documents adopted between 2017 and 2023. The results indicate that in some regions the principles of the SDG are strongly embedded, while in others they are only mentioned at a general level. The paper identifies differences in the degree of integration across regions and provides recommendations for strengthening conceptual approaches, adapting indicators, and enhancing interregional cooperation.

The article presents a comprehensive analysis of strategies for the formation and development of human capital in economically developed countries. Key factors determining the level of human capital are examined, including the scale of public and private investments in education, healthcare, scientific research, and innovation. Particular attention is paid to the role of the corporate sector in enhancing professional competencies and improving labor productivity. Based on international research data and comparative analysis, the structural features of human capital management in countries with varying levels of economic development are identified. The study concludes that systematic and proactive investments in human capital are critical for ensuring sustainable economic growth, enhancing competitiveness, and maintaining social stability.

This study provides a comparative analysis of innovative development models that have played an important role in the global economy in the 21st century. The article takes an in-depth look at the innovation systems of the United States, the European Union, the Scandinavian countries, South Korea, Singapore, Japan, and Germany. Five main models - open innovation, Triple Helix, cluster innovation, public governance, and corporate strategies - are analyzed based on statistical data for 2024. The results of the study show that each model has its own advantages and is adapted to the institutional environment and economic characteristics of countries. Hybrid models and the integration of sustainable development goals have become the main trends in modern innovation strategies. The recommendations presented for Uzbekistan determine the ways to develop the national innovation ecosystem.

The article considers the current state of small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) in Kazakhstan on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of state measures to support entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan, identifies the main barriers that hinder its growth and development. Special attention is paid to the problems of lending, taxation and access to information resources. The author considers effective strategies implemented by the government of Kazakhstan within the framework of national programmes and initiatives, and assesses their effectiveness on the basis of available empirical data. International experience is also analysed to identify the most successful incentive mechanisms. The paper offers specific recommendations for improving the institutional environment and developing a comprehensive system of support for priority areas of SME development. The importance of creating favourable conditions for innovation and increasing the export potential of enterprises is discussed. The final part is devoted to strategic planning at the state level to achieve sustainable socio-economic development.

Tourism development in Uzbekistan is viewed as one of the priority areas of state policy aimed at diversifying the economy and enhancing the country’s international image. Given Uzbekistan's rich historical and cultural heritage, the effective use of tangible cultural heritage sites in the tourism sector becomes particularly important. However, the current level of integration of such sites—especially archaeological monuments—into tourism remains extremely low. This indicates the existence of systemic issues, including lack of infrastructure, outdated or inaccurate registry data, low awareness of the sites, and the absence of a comprehensive methodology for assessing their tourism potential. This research is especially relevant for regions with high cultural potential but underdeveloped tourism infrastructure, such as the Fergana and Andijan regions. The development and testing of a comprehensive methodology for assessing the tourist appeal of tangible cultural heritage sites makes it possible to propose a scientifically grounded approach to forming regional tourism routes, as well as effective strategies for the preservation and promotion of cultural values.

Small business plays a key role in the economy of Uzbekistan, contributing to the creation of jobs, the development of innovations and improving the quality of life of the population. Despite the supportive measures of the state, small businesses face a number of obstacles, such as a high tax burden, bureaucratic barriers and limited financial resources. The purpose of this article is to comprehensively analyze the state of small business in Uzbekistan, identify the main problems and proposals for their solution. The article examines current trends in entrepreneurship, provides statistical data illustrating the growth and development of the sector, and offers recommendations for improving the business environment. The analysis confirms that small business in Uzbekistan has significant potential, but requires further state support and optimization of existing measures.

This article analyzes tourism infrastructure and its role in economic development. It considers infrastructure components in the tourism sector, their economic significance and development strategies. The main focus is on the importance of transport, hotel infrastructure, travel agencies, information and communication technologies and tourism support infrastructure. The results achieved in Uzbekistan in 2023 in these areas and their economic effect are analyzed.

The purpose of the study is to consider the healthcare system and the medical services sector, which is an urgent issue in implementing the country's socio-economic development strategies, using the example of the Samarkand region. This article provides a systematic analysis of the medical services sector, which has become an important factor in improving the well-being of the population and the consistent development of the economy in New Uzbekistan, and its development opportunities.

The reforms and the mechanism of development in the field of agriculture in Kashkadarya region are widely studied and their theoretical aspects are explained. Agricultural economy in 2011-2023 was analyzed on the basis of statistics agency and suggestions were made. The main aspects of the need for econometric modeling of the production process of agricultural products are covered by the table. The strategy of econometric modeling of the development and management of the production of agricultural products is explained theoretically. Their analysis on the concept of agricultural development is summarized and the main concepts are presented. Environmental programs need to look for new strategies and solutions to solve these problems. According to the scientists of agriculture and environmental protection, the results of these efforts have been given.

In this article, the main directions of the development of FinTech strategies in commercial banks are presented on the example of banks operating in Uzbekistan. Among the main areas of FinTech strategies are digital payment systems, artificial intelligence (AI) and data analysis, blockchain, banking mobile applications, digital banks and FinTech startups. Also, the changes in banks as a result of their application were analyzed based on the data of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In this, information about plastic cards in circulation in banks, payment terminals installed by banks, ATMs, infokiosks, bank applications, digital banks from 2001 to August 1, 2024 was presented and analyzed graphically.

This study is devoted to examining the issues of ensuring cybersecurity and the stable functioning of the banking system of Uzbekistan in the context of the rapid development of digital banking services. The digitalization of the banking sector has led to the emergence of new products and services, such as digital banks and financial ecosystems, thereby increasing the relevance of national financial and cybersecurity challenges. The purpose of the research is to characterize the main directions of the digital transformation of banking services within the context of cybersecurity. The article systematizes theoretical approaches to the concept of digital transformation of banking services, conducts a comparative analysis based on international experience, analyzes the dynamics of cyber threats and their target objects within the banking system of Uzbekistan, and develops proposals aimed at strengthening cybersecurity. The research findings have practical significance for the development of state regulation mechanisms and sustainable development strategies in the banking sector.
