В статье рассматривается роль и значение институциональных механизмов в процессе регионального развития. Механизмы, регулирующие взаимодействие между государством, местными органами, частным сектором и гражданским обществом, рассматриваются как ключевой инструмент обеспечения регионального экономического роста. Анализируется опыт зарубежных стран (ЕС, Украина, Россия), а также раскрываются теоретические и практические основы институционального подхода. На основе анализа научных источников обоснована эффективность данных механизмов в стимулировании инноваций, привлечении инвестиций и снижении межрегиональных диспропорций.
