METHODOLOGY FOR FORMULATING AN ECONOMIC STRATEGY UNDER CONDITIONS OF SUSTAINABLE REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT

This article examines the role, significance, and functions of regions in developing a regional development strategy under new economic conditions. It reveals the methodological aspects of regional development in the context of a transforming economy and substantiates the mechanisms for implementing the strategy within a new institutional environment. Furthermore, it emphasizes that the development strategy of a particular region should be aligned with the national development strategy and constitute an integral part of the country's overall strategic development framework
