STATE FINANCIAL APPROACHES TO INCREASING THE EXPORT OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLE PRODUCTS: THE EXPERIENCE OF UZBEKISTAN

This study examines the key directions of financial support mechanisms available to exporting enterprises engaged in foreign economic activities in the Republic of Uzbekistan. These mechanisms encompass the implementation of international standards and certification processes, the registration of national products and brands (trademarks) with foreign regulatory bodies, the establishment and maintenance of trade houses, financial assistance for leasing office, retail, and warehouse spaces abroad, participation in international exhibitions and trade fairs, and the promotion of local products and brands through digital marketing. Based on a comprehensive analysis of these support measures, the study formulates evidence-based proposals and recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of state interventions in facilitating export activities.

THE IMPACT OF THE RULE OF LAW AND CORRUPTION CONTROL ON NON-RESOURCE EXPORTS IN UZBEKISTAN: AN EMPIRICAL ANALYSIS BASED ON THE GRAVITY MODEL

This article provides an empirical analysis of the impact of the rule of law and corruption control on Uzbekistan’s non-resource exports. In the context of globalization and increasing international competition, institutional quality has become a key determinant of external trade performance. Using an extended gravity model of international trade and panel data covering the period 2001–2022, the study assesses the effects of institutional indicators, including control of corruption and rule of law, on Uzbekistan’s non-resource export flows. The econometric results demonstrate a statistically significant and robust positive relationship between control of corruption, rule of law and export performance. The findings suggest that further export diversification and a shift toward higher value-added products are unlikely without deepening institutional reforms

Based on a regional analysis, the article examines the specific features of fintech development in various regions (North America, Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, and LAMEA). Using the examples of major fintech companies such as PayPal, Stripe, Revolut, and Ant Group, the article emphasizes the expansion of digital payments, open banking, blockchain technologies, and services based on artificial intelligence. Drawing on statistical data and international experience, the article identifies the key advantages of fintech services, including high speed, cost reduction, financial inclusion, and the provision of innovative products. The conclusion highlights the prospects for further development of the fintech sector and the need for cooperation between technological innovation and state regulators.
