The article examines at the regional level such indicators as population size, in particular, growth rates and the share of the economically active population, employment and unemployment levels, changes in the ratio of urban and rural populations, as sources of formation of the labor market. An analysis of regional similarities and differences in the dynamics of these indicators has been carried out. Based on the analysis of the trend in the share of the region's population in the country's population, it is assumed that this social process is an important factor in the economic process associated with the formation of labor resources and optimization of the labor market. In recent years, changes in the ratio of urban and rural populations have been assessed as a factor causing regional differences in the relative rates of the economically active population. It was revealed that the sources of formation of the labor market create a trend of change in the same time periods. It is explained that the jump points of unemployment levels in the regions are connected with the strong fluctuations in the growth picture of the economically active population. This is also based on the fact that the growth rate of the unemployment rate is not collinear with the growth rate of the economically active population.

In our country, a youth policy has been developed for the younger generation, especially for them to take their place in society, and this policy has been strengthened by a legal basis and is enshrined in our main document, the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a number of regulatory documents, as well as a statement of research aimed at ensuring profitability in increasing population entrepreneurship.

In this article, it became known that the benefits provided by the state play an important role in the efficient use of the household lands of the population in eliminating the problem of food insecurity. In particular, the analysis of statistical data on households and farms was studied. In our country, the practice of secondary distribution of land allocated to the population was studied, and its impact on the dynamics of production was determined. Positive and negative factors affecting the use of homestead land by the population were determined. Conclusions based on the mechanisms of financial support for homesteading and the impact of increasing land productivity, attracting new irrigation technologies, and rational, economical use of water in increasing the incomes of the population have been formed.

This article explores the characteristics of flexible employment among different generational groups in the labor market, the functioning of labor relations, and the scientific-theoretical distinctions in labor value. It evaluates the changes in the share of each age group within the total population and the proportion of people above working age in the labor force structure of Uzbekistan from 1991 to 2024. The article highlights issues of population employment in flexible and efficient forms of labor within an innovation-driven economy based on advanced information and technological developments, its impact on the sectoral structure of employment, and challenges related to workforce turnover.
