The study examines the structural composition of the bank resource base and its importance in liquidity management, expansion of lending capacity, and minimization of financial risks from both theoretical and practical perspectives. Particular attention is paid to improving mechanisms for attracting idle funds of households and business entities to the bank resource base, diversifying deposit and non-deposit funding sources, optimizing the cost of resources, and increasing the competitiveness of banks.
